Strappy Music Pty Ltd — Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are issued by Strappy Music Pty Ltd (ABN 89 691 715 072), referred to in this document as “Strappy Music, “we”, or “us”.”

1. About Our Products

All Strappy Music straps and accessories are handmade in small batches. Slight variations in stitching, texture, or finish are part of the handmade process and do not constitute faults. Products are designed for use with standard 4/4 violins and full size violas unless otherwise stated.

2. Refunds & Returns

Strappy Music complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If your item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, please contact us within 30 days of receiving it. We will repair, replace, or refund the item as appropriate. Refunds are not available for change of mind, custom orders, or minor variations consistent with handmade production.

3. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped from Australia. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. While we take care to dispatch promptly, we are not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided. Please ensure your delivery details are accurate and complete.

4. Beta Test Products

Prototype or “beta” items are provided as is for testing and feedback, and may differ from final versions. By accepting a prototype, you acknowledge you use it voluntarily and at your own risk. Strappy Music is not liable for injury, damage, or loss arising from the use of beta items, except where required by law.

5. Safety & Liability Disclaimer

Strappy Music products are not medical devices. Results may vary depending on body shape, setup, and playing style. Every instrument is unique, and while we have designed our clamps and straps to be safe, we cannot guarantee that they will not cause wear or damage in all cases.

Users are responsible for correct installation and regular inspection of fittings. Strappy Music accepts no liability for damage or loss arising from misuse, incorrect installation, or normal wear and tear. If you notice any issues with your instrument, discontinue use immediately.

Note: While Strappy Music straps have been safely used on a wide range of instruments, we recommend extra care when fitting them to valuable or antique instruments. Test slowly, check for movement or marking before full use, and stop immediately if any concern arises. This disclaimer does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any breach of a consumer guarantee is limited to the replacement, repair, or refund of the goods, as set out under section 64A of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Strappy Music will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage arising from the use or inability to use our products, except as required by law.

7. Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD). Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, and written materials are the intellectual property of Strappy Music. Products may not be copied, reproduced, or modified without written permission.

9. Privacy

We collect basic personal information (name, email, shipping address) solely to fulfil orders and communicate with you. Payments are processed securely by Stripe and we do not store card details. We do not sell or share your personal information. You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting us. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved under Tasmanian jurisdiction.
